This guide establishes the official taxonomy for anomalous entities documented by The Division. All field personnel, research staff, and containment officers are required to familiarize themselves with Classes A through F. Classification of encountered entities is mandatory within 72 hours of initial contact using Form ████-EC. Misclassification is a Protocol violation. Failure to classify is also a Protocol violation. Both violations carry the same consequence.

§ 1. Classification Table — Classes A through F

Electromagnetic anomalies with no point source; cold spots that retain shape; auditory residue (voices, footsteps) with no corresponding personnel; photographic artifacts in images taken on-site; doors that are warm on one side and cold on the other regardless of ambient temperature.	Class A entities do not respond to stimulus. If a Class A entity responds to stimulus, reclassify immediately. Do not wait to confirm.
B	Responsive Entities Реактивные объекты	LOW	Observation log required. Maintain minimum 3m distance. Do not address directly. Do not make sustained eye contact.	Shapes that orient toward observers without locomotion; temperature fluctuations that mirror observer movement; sounds that echo with incorrect delay; reflections that lag by one to three seconds; objects that return to original position when unobserved.	Class B entities are not considered hostile. Hostility is not required for harm. File supplemental Form EC-B2 if the entity demonstrates apparent recognition of a specific observer.
C	Autonomous Agents Автономные агенты	MODERATE	Standard containment protocols apply. Minimum two-person observation teams. Notify Sector Lead within 4 hours. Physical barriers may be required per Containment Addendum ██-C.	Entities exhibiting purposeful, goal-directed behavior; entities that relocate between observation windows; entities that appear to test containment boundaries systematically; entities found in locations inconsistent with last logged position.	If a Class C entity has ceased observable activity for more than 48 hours, do not assume containment. Assume patience. File Form EC-C and await Sector Lead directive.
D	Cognitive Intruders Когнитивные нарушители	HIGH	Mandatory partner system. Debrief required within 6 hours of contact. Memory baseline comparison using Form ██-MB. Observer rotation every ██ minutes. Note: rotation intervals are classified because knowing them would affect their efficacy.	Entities that alter observer perception of spatial geometry; entities associated with gaps in personnel memory coincident with proximity; entities whose ████████ cannot be reliably recalled after the observation session ends; entities that appear in the same position in multiple observers' accounts despite observers never ████████████████.	If you believe you have encountered a Class D entity and you are not certain how you arrived at your current location, do not move. Activate your locator badge. If your locator badge is missing, it was not there before either. This is expected. ████████████████.
E	Structural Anomalies Структурные аномалии	SEVERE	████████████████ Do not attempt independent containment. ████████████████████████. Contact ████ immediately. If ████ does not respond, ████████████████████████████████.	Entities or conditions causing ████████████████ of physical space; documented cases of ████████████████████████████ in structural materials; corridors that do not correspond to architectural plans; rooms with ████████████████ properties; ████████████████████████████████ that personnel cannot account for upon exit.	████████████████████████████████████████████ under no circumstances should personnel ████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████. § 3. Administrative Notes / Административные примечания

This guide is reviewed and reissued on a schedule determined by the Records Office. The schedule is not published. Personnel who need to know the schedule will be informed when the next revision is released. Personnel who are not informed should not assume the previous revision remains current. Personnel should not assume anything.

Reclassification requests must be submitted via Form EC-RECLASS within 48 hours of the triggering observation. Requests submitted outside this window will be reviewed at The Division's discretion. The Division's discretion is not subject to appeal.

Entities not covered by this guide should be reported using Form EC-UNKNOWN. Form EC-UNKNOWN requires that the reporting personnel describe the entity. Personnel who cannot describe the entity should submit a blank Form EC-UNKNOWN. Blank Form EC-UNKNOWN submissions are processed separately.
